Silverado

Silverado Vineyards has been making entirely estate-grown wine from the heart of the Stags Leap District for more than forty years. Everything is grown, produced and bottled on their own land, which is rarer in Napa than the marketing usually suggests.

The range rewards curiosity. Alongside the GEO and SOLO Cabernets sit a Mt. George Petit Verdot and a Borreo Ranch Kerner, an Austrian white you will almost never see planted in Napa. It is open daily from 10am to 5pm, which is unusually flexible for this part of the valley, and it accommodates walk-ins as well as appointments. Michael scores it a straight 7 across the board. A reliable, low-friction stop on a southern Napa route.
