Paradigm makes wine exclusively from the Harris Family Vineyards on Dwyer Road in the heart of Oakville, which is about as good an address as Napa Valley offers for Cabernet. Everything is handcrafted and the operation stays deliberately small.

That combination, excellent wine and a genuine welcome without the visitor-centre apparatus, is exactly what people are usually looking for when they ask for a hidden gem in Oakville.
