Clark Claudon - Closed

Clark-Claudon Vineyards is the result of Tom Clark and Laurie Claudon arriving in Napa Valley in 1974, two twenty-somethings out of the Peace Corps with a growing family and a sense of adventure. Tom developed vineyards across the valley for years before they got one of their own, often with Laurie working alongside him.

The estate sits on Howell Mountain and produces a limited amount of estate-grown Cabernet Sauvignon plus Sauvignon Blanc, shaped by the vineyard and the season rather than by a house recipe. Cab for Care is their giving-back programme. Michael's scores are among the highest in the collection at 8, 8 and 9, which tells you what the visit was like when it was running. Our records list this winery as closed to visitors, so confirm current status before including it in a Napa Cabernet tour.
