Bob Cabral Wines is built around the Backstage Lounge, a private tasting space on the Paradise Ridge property in Santa Rosa, right next to the LOVE Sculpture. It's designed to feel like winemaker Bob Cabral's own living room, filled with rock and roll memorabilia and stories to match. Bob spent 17 years as winemaker at Williams Selyem and 8 years at Three Sticks before starting this label, and in 2007 became the first North American winemaker to earn a perfect 100-point score from Wine Enthusiast, for his Litton Estate Pinot Noir.
The tasting flight runs through Russian River Valley and Sonoma Coast wines, and every bottle is paired with a song Bob picked himself. Tastings run Monday through Saturday, 10:30am to 2:30pm, by request. This is a new addition to our directory that Michael is personally test marketing, so ratings aren't in yet.
