Visiting Large Production Wineries

It is easy to design a day filled with large production wineries. They are well known and very well advertised. But only a handful of the large production wineries provide a really special experience. We focus on the large production wineries that are create an extraordinary tasting experience. The wineries that go out of their way to send you home with a special admiration for their winery.

We avoid the large production facilities that are a tourist trap and seek out the large production wineries that provide a "Don't Miss" experience. Whether it's a special wine, an incredible tour or something unique that sets them apart from the rest, those are the large production wineries that we include in our tours, because they are the ones that will make your day memorable.

Visiting Boutique Wineries

While a visit to a large winery can be fantastic, the smaller boutique wineries of Napa & Sonoma hold the real charm of the wine country. Boutique wineries often provide the most interesting experience, sometimes including private tastings with the owners themselves. Boutique wineries can range from the small family run operation to large estates, but all are smaller production wineries.

We travel the back roads of the wine country in search of the virtually unknown wineries and the up and coming wineries that have grown considerably but sill maintain a very boutique style.
